so FINALLY I have two minutes and I'm looking at my house thinking I can't possibly put cleaning off for one more day and what am I doing?? Looking at blogs! Daxton (and the other two...or should I say three:)) has made it almost impossible to eat breakfast, let alone sit at the computer and blog! And I'm really in stress because for some reason my camera has decided not to work!! What?? I can't live without my camera! Everyday I feel SO guilty because I am missing Dax growing- and he is growing so fast- but yet I still can't get myself to drive up to Best Buy to get my camera fixed! That is my goal for the weekend! (and maybe finish cleaning!)
So anyway- just a little update- Dax is now 1 month old and he is getting so close to smiling! I can't believe how fast time is going by! He "overall" is a good baby- but he does have his moments. He gets super gassy and always burps 6 or 7 times after each feeding- and he screams until he feels better. My friend Tara just lent me her baby Bjorn and it has been nice to be able to rock him and still have my hands to get other things done (like typing on this blog- ha ha)!
He is sleeping pretty good at night- in fact if he sleeps by me he would probably sleep all night long! Everyday I vow to do better that night and put him in his crib, in his room- but "that night" hasn't come yet.
I still wake up every morning to Cade saying "don't weep mommy! You got to get up!" over and over until I get up (this usually happens around 7 or 7:30 and sometimes Dave can talk him into letting me "weep") Cade's new thing are "water shoes". I got him some water socks to take on our trip in April and he won't take them off. Seriously he sleeps in them, took a bath in them, and finally after 3 days of non stop I finally got them off of him only to find pruney toes and the WORST smell I have ever smelled (except for Dave's feet...like father like son). I've decided I need to hide them until we actually go on the trip!
And Austin is still constantly rubbing the baby's head and begging to hold him. He also loves to "burp" the baby and he tries to rock him when he's sad.
I just got Austin signed up for T-ball and he is SO excited! Soccer starts in a couple of weeks and I am excited!! I love watching him! The other day I heard him tell his friend Issac "I really promise I will try to pass you the ball, so you can score a goal!"
Anyway- I think my time here is running out!! pictures coming soon....
