So I know, I know, most of my posts about AUSTIN are all positive- I don't usually have anything even remotely negative to write about him because truthfully, he really is a good boy. He has always been very sweet and for the most part a very obedient kid- well, I'm afraid he's getting older and he is unfortunately becoming....not so sweet....
the other day we were leaving my sister's house and he wanted some "pink milk" right as we were walking out the door- me being very anxious to get out the door I told him we would get some at home (we live 5 minutes away) and he was not very happy with me. Long story short I finally picked him up and put him in the car. After I walked around the car and got in to leave, Cade says, "Austin said, 'stupid mom'".... WHAT?! I wasn't sure I heard him right because how could my "sweet Austin" call me stupid?? So I asked Cade again and sure enough he said, "austin said, 'stupid mom'"- So I turned around to look at Austin and he had this huge frown and a very grumpy face. So I knew he said it!! AHHH! I am not ready for my kids to call me names and to not like me!! Any suggestions on how to keep our kids trapped in a bubble where they think moms are the coolest, smartest people ever??
