You are my sweet heart- You have such a fun and outgoing personality. You love life and you love playing hard. You like lots of attention and you are not afraid to tell people how much you love them. You are going to be a heart breaker! I love when you snuggle with me...and when you pucker those big lips, how can I resist!

Austin-
My big boy! I have such a special place in my heart for you- You have such a tender heart. You are very obedient and you like to do what is right. You love to play (especially with your friends and cousins)! You are very determined and persistent. You know what you want and you don't give up until you get it! I love your giggles and I love watching you play and take care of your brothers. You are an amazing big brother!!


last but not least- my biggest baby....Dave-
babe- as I look on our life together (the whole 6 1/2 years...) I am truly grateful. From the moment I met you I knew that we were meant to be! We couldn't be more opposite, but for that I am thankful because you teach me so much. You are such a good man. And I mean that in every way. Honest, Sincere, Real, "what you see is what you get". You know exactly who you are (or who you want to be) and you don't move away from that for anything. You are very true to everyone around you and you always do whats right- even if you don't want to!! You are humble, you know how to "be the bigger person", You always take the blame (even when I know it's my fault)!
Things that you do for me...
hold my hand even though you may not like to, watch and "get into" all my girl shows with me, you give killer back rubs at unexpected times, let me take plenty of "breaks" without complaint, love me even though you claim I'm a "shop-a-holic", our late night talks about the kids- or anything else for that matter, how you know me so well- all the little things about me- inside and out, and you still love me for me!

Happy birthday, birthday boy!!

I'm so proud of my monkey cake!! And even though he would not even taste it- at least it looked cute! He was a little overwhelmed by the whole "Party" idea...he wasn't sure about everyone looking at him and singing....he didn't want much to do with the cake...and he wasn't sure about all the kids "helping" him open his presents! But we had fun watching him!!



I can't believe he's really one! Where did the time go? Dax, you are such a joy in our famiily!! We all love you so much!

february updates..;.

So- we had to cancle dax's birthday party because him and cader-bug were very sick- the party is tonight- so check back tomorrow for party pics and the cute cake I made him!!
I felt a little guilty not having a cake on his actual birthday- so at the last minute I made cookies (which he didn't want anything to do with) and we opened his present from g-ma and g-pa larsen. On his birthday when he woke up for the morning austin and I went in his room singing "happy birthday" and a few minutes later Cade walks in and says, "ho ho ho santa baby!"...he was confused all day saying, "I want to sit by the santa baby!"-



a picture speaks 1000 words...I just have to tell this story. We all know how fun my cader-bug is, especially when he's sick! But this picture seriously made my whole day!
Cade had dumped out some goldfish crackers all over the carpet and all over the tile. I had had it with cleaning up after him- because I feel like it's all I do- so finally I decided to put my foot down and just not do it. Hopefully he'll learn and then next time, maybe he won't make such a mess...
Me: Cade, you need to pick up all those crackers before you can do anything else.
C: no mom, you need to clean them up! It's too hard...you have to help me....(and more whining)...
Me: Nope! You made the mess, now you clean it up. (and then I just walked away so I wouldn't fall into his trap.)

about 10 minutes later I came back upstairs to see all the crackers cleaned up off the carpet!!! and he was kneeling over the tile picking up the remaining gold fish. I almost had a HEART ATTACK!!! He listened to me???!!! Holy crap!!

ME: CADE!! I am so proud of you! Thank you so much for cleaning up the gold fish!! You ROCK!!

He was happy, and I of course had to take a picture...then a few minutes later he said, "mom, do I still rock?!"



We went and visited Grandma and Grandpa great in logan. It was fun to see their new house and let the boys play around with their "totally awesome" walkers (they even have baskets on them!!) Grandpa is so silly and I'm glad I got this on video! It's fun to see him be so silly- I definitely know where my dad got it! Hopefully I got some of it too...so I can pass it on to my boys. We love you grandma and grandpa!
